Whey Protein Definition
What Is Whey protein?

Protein from whey (a by-product of cheese manufactured from cow's milk) which has been processed to remove the water, fat, and other substances to produce a substance that is about 90% protein and 1% fat. The protein is then hydrolyzed which is very important because it breaks the large proteins up into smaller "peptides" (short chains of amino acids), which your body can easily absorb and use. The best protein supplements on the market today are composed of whey protein.
