Fruits and Vegetables... Not Just Your Mothers Recommendation

I OK, so I think we all know that fruits and vegetables are good for us. We've been taught since we were kids that eating them will keep the doctor away and make us stronger. Well my friends, our mothers were right. Fruits and vegetables are an extremely important ingredient to not only strength but size as well. Incorporating about 600g of fruits and vegetables per day will provide you with the amino acids you need to start breaking down all the protein you intake during the day. This translates into... you guessed it, stronger and bigger muscles.

Not only will your muscles benefit but your whole body will due to the increase in vitamins as well. There are alot of great recipes that incorporate fruits and vegetables without you having to chomp your way through them everyday. The bottom line is that beyond the mass calories and high amounts of proteins, fruits and vegetables will help channel that material into fuel your body can use.

So instead of jogging your way to the chicken/beef section of the grocery store every week, try to take the time to browse the fruits/vegetable aisle.
