Lat Pulldown Machine Exercise Instructions

Lat Pulldowns

Purpose of Exercise: To develop the whole back with specific emphasis on the lower lats.

Execution of Exercise: Grasp cable bar with a wide grip. Sit with thighs under supports. Pull the bar down smoothly until it touches your upper chest. Hold briefly in this contracted position and then lower to the starting position and repeat.

Important Points: This is a strict exercise, do not move the bar up and down in a jerky or uncontrolled manner. Spotting can be done by pulling the bar down while standing behind the individual.
