Pec Deck Machine Exercise Instructions
Pec Deck Fly
Purpose of Exercise: To develop the pectorals.
Execution of Exercise: Sit in the pec deck flyes machine with your back against the seat. Place forearms on arm pads. Position upper arms approximately parallel. Bring your arms in front of you in an arc fashion until your elbows meet in front of your chest. Return to the start position, get a good stretch and repeat.
Important Points: Do not move in a jerky or uncontrolled manner. Remember to push with your elbows and not your hands. Be sure to really squeeze your pecs in the contracted position for a count of two.
