Best Bodyweight Workout For Homemade Muscle


When I first started exercising I was frustrated by the lack of information about using bodyweight exercises to get in shape and build muscle, and I was desperate to find muscle building workouts that I could do from home…mainly due to the fact that I could not afford a gym membership!

So I was pretty happy when I found out about this bodyweight workout program.

What is this bodyweight workout all about?


It is called The Muscle Experiment and is a 180 page PDF guide to scultping a lean physique with the use of bodyweight exercises.

It comes in 3 parts. The first part is largely theoretical and  goes over the basics of why bodyweight exercises are so powerful for shaping your physique and maintaing a healthy lifestyle…

Part 2  is the bulk of the system, which includes over 50 bodyweight workouts to do from home. The workouts range from 5 minute to 40 minute workouts so are quick to do which is perfect for me as I like to spend minimal time exercising where possible!

What I liked best


What impressed me about this workout guide, is that it is not just the same old rehashed exercises and routines that you usually get. You get unique bodyweight exercises that are specifically designed to lose fat and build muscle…all from your own home.

Some of the exercises also go beyond the typical rep counting method with techniques used where you hold a certain position for a period of time in order to develop core strength and stability.

One of my favorites is the upper body workout and the pyramid style workouts, where you gradually build up from sets of 1 rep, to 10 reps with no rest between the sets.

You also get a worksheet to track your progress as you work through the 30 day, 60 day, and 90 day workout plans.

What I would change

This guide includes pretty much everything you need to be able to sculpt your ideal physique from home, but if I was to be fussy and had to pick something to change it would just be to have the meal options more clearly laid out. All the food types were given to you along with an excellent per-day rotation system, but I like to be taken by the hand a bit more and be told the exact meals to cook on the exact days to copy!

Also, just to let you know that some of the exercises made use of a pull-up bar and fitness-straps. I do not currently own these pieces of equipment (but plan to do so soon) so to start with I just substituted these with exercises not requiring any equipment.

Summary


I  recommend The Muscle Experiment to anyone who wants to exercise from home to lose fat and to build lean muscle. You will not need to purchase any other bodyweight workout systems after this one as it is the complete guide that you can refer to time and time again.

There are so many workouts to chose from in this guide that you are bound to find a select few that work especially well for you. And most importantly, these exercises are unique and specific to sculpting a lean and muscular looking body…not just improving fitness…that is an added bonus!

But the most important thing is to not just to read the guide for learning sake, you need to take action and put the workouts to good use. If you do then I am sure you will see some great changes.
